KDE 3.1 - Poster Printing

Using the kprinter tool, it's possible to use the kdeprint frame
work outside KDE. For more information, see

Basically, kprinter is a replacement for the command-line tool "lpr".
By configuring non KDE apps to use kprinter instead of lpr, you can
access most of all kdeprint features, including poster printing,
assuming that the application generates PostScript (which is the
case for many apps).

Note also that the poster support in KDE-3.1 uses the poster utility.
So you need to have it installed anyway.

I uploaded binary packages (RPM) compiled under Mandrake-8.2. They
should be available in a few hours at that location:
