Could we also put the "Printing News" section (AFAIK it is intended to indicate
changes to the website ?) into real use?

Also, then it should be moved to the top of the page, so you can see from the
first look if there is anything in there...

[Just have the last 5 items in there, link to the whole "site history" via a
"continued" or similar link leading to a separate page?] -- I was looking for
the appearance of Michael's tutorial for programmers already on several occasions
and always clicked thru some pages before I realized it is not yet there...
