@Kai Uwe: Is this still a problem nowadays?
In general, the Qt print dialog used by KolourPaint does offer the possibility
of choosing paper sizes ("Properties" -> "Page").
It is also possible to use custom page sizes there, which has only recently
been fixed in Qt by Albert, s. https://codereview.qt-project.org/#/c/215054/ .

Is that already what you need or do you mean that a more advanced handling of
any kind is needed?
