patch to fix some printer issues (fixed)

Here's a version of the patch fixed to not crash when currentPPD is NULL and
reformatted according to the Qt coding style.

Please note that I only know this builds, I haven't done any testing yet. (But
all I changed except for formatting is that I added the checks for NULL to
prevent crashes.)
