There was a reaction on the Qt side: the bug is now marked as a duplicate of an
existing bug: http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-3567

This other bug has been reported in February, is unassigned and has no
schedule. So I guess there's nothing to expect from the Qt side anytime soon.

In the meantime I keep being annoyed by paper waste in my lab, because all KDE4
users send their print jobs non-duplex. I understand that printing may not have
top priority among KDE developers, but still it would be nice to see at least
some reaction, like acknowledging this bug, or rejecting it. 

The point is, a KDE developer might have more impact on the Qt devs than some
random internet user who reports a duplicate bug. So if some KDE dev would
accept this bug and poke the Qt devs this might save a few thousand trees.
