KDEPrint in KDE3 is unmaintained and will have no more new features
implemented.  The usability improvement part of this bug will never be
implemented in KDEPrint as a result.  

In KDE4 kjobviewer has been replaced by printer-applet which uses
system-config-printer as a backend.  printer-applet does not support keeping
permenantly in the system tray, a separate feature request will be raised for
this.

Keeping open for the incorrect behaviour part of the bug, although it is highly
unlikely to be fixed.
