You have my vote on this one in the qt BZ.

I've had problems with the defaults for selecting duplex for ages (which I
think is releated) and have opened, voted for and followed various bugs at kde
and qt o nthe printing system. I really hope
http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-6471 starts to get some traction. I
can't believe how this doesn't have a higher profile and some urgency to fix.
