To Kurt: well, I'm in some time constraint, too, but if it really helps to get things done, I could try and find some time. Clytie essentially pointed out what needs to be changed, so it probably won't take too much time, I hope... But as I understood from mail exchange there won't be any PPD translations in KDE4 anyway, so I'm not very convinced it makes sense...
