You can get what you want already now. (This bug report is not valid).
There are different ways to do it. I'll just mention one:
* once you selected the printer in the print dialog, click "Properties"
* select the rightmost tab, "Filters"
* click the "funnel" icon ("Add Filter")
* select "Multiple Pages per Sheet Filter", click "OK"
* highlight the line naming the filter
* click the "wrench" icon ("Fonfigure Filter")
* select how many pages per sheet you want
* select the border line width you want
* select if you want additional margins
* click "OK", "OK", "Preview", "Print"
Done!
You can even setup one or more separate "instances" of your printer that do different things. That spares you repeating all the above clicks every time you need such a type of printout. Just select the printer instance, and be done.
