Sure I can change the destination of print.pdf manually. 

Now I tried some other applications
* opening a *.odt with kword - same problem
* opening a *.csv with kwrite - it works as mentionend in http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146397#c4

IMHO it looks like some apps have some sort of memory or handle this cyas differently.
