Well, first let me say, that I'm not administrating this network / printer. I'm only using it. :)
Changing the address via command line seems to work (according to lpstat). Of course I can't test printing after the change, because I can't change the real address of the printer.
It's not an Active Directory domain.
You asked for the command the KDE Add Printer Wizard executes.
Well, how can I see? (hope this question isn't too silly)

The error message says something like: 'Required page not found'. All I can do is clicking on 'Ok' and than on 'Abort'. No changes are saved.
