1) produce a PS file: from a KDE app (like konqueror), print to a PS file
2) open a terminal
3) type: "lpr -P<printername> <file.ps>", be sure to replace <printername> with the actual printer name (without the < and > characters), and <file.ps> with the actual file to print.
