Summary: the %out variable should use a temporary directory /
                    file to store intermediate files
           Product: kdeprint
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kde-print-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: gassauer kde org

Version: (using KDE 3.5.3 Level "a" , unofficial build of SUSE )
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.13-4-default

Hi!
To reproduce!
Open a file in a remote directory in konqueror with sftp.
select Print -> Send PDF file.

it claims that the directory is not available

apparently kprint strips the sftp:// and assumes that the remote directory is on the local box.

This seems to happen only the first time an application wants to "Send a PDF by mail" AND only if the first time is using a document from a remote directory.

Otherwise kprint seems to remember the path of the last activity.
