Please consider to submit your interesting idea to bugs.kde.org in form of a 
wish to kdeprint.

I almost lost track of your message and I'm sure there could be people that 
could be interested in attempting to fullfill your wish and which can't 
possibly know about it. Having it in the wishlist helps.
