i think such assumption is not good; in "http-addrlist.c:httpAddrGetList(..."
  if (hostname && hostname[0] == '/')
  {
   /*
    * Domain socket address...
    */

For ignoring of port parameter I must duplicate this code at any point, where I handle with host addres. As developer I would prefer presence of function looks like int httpAddrLocalhost(...). Let name it int httpAddrUNIXDomainSocket(...)
