But you see, kdeaddons is released with KDE, it's like shipping a theKompany
app. You can't claim that "This isn't a Noatun plugin" ... "But a vanilla
KDE install has it."

Well, you're confusing files with playlist items, and meta file properties
with meta meta files. It results in an increase in versatility for Noatun in
general (no KFMI for, e.g., an Icecast stream), and it makes the Noatun API
more powerful for plugin authors (for example, my examples of Ryan's Flood
plugin)

Well, we have two questions here: What should we do in general, and what
should we do for Hayes. And it's likely that answering the latter depends on
the former.
