The current state of the kmail and akonadi

Hello,

I would like to ask what is the currnet state of the kmail and akonadi? I was using kmail for years, but after recent update to Fedora 40 I am not able to access my IMAP resources any more. Am I doing something wrong or is the IMAP support in kmail broken?

If it is broken, is there any time plan to fix that?
