Qt5->Qt6 transition chaos for packagers when depending applications are not yet ported.

Yes, they are co-installable. Our workaround was to create a new
package libkgapi5 which points to the kf5 release/23.08 branch rather
than master to continue to build a kf5 version for kf5 apps to
consume. Which works.
