kmail new mails no longer shown

Hi,

I made the "fatal" error to update my production system to current git master and now
I no longer see new mails in kmail.
I already made a bug entry (396781).
Since this is critical for work, anybody knows what was changed recently that could result in this ?
It seems also that a newly imported .ics entry (accepted invitation mail)
is not shown in korganizer until I restart it.
maybe there's a problem in some akonadi lib or something ?
