REVISION SUMMARY
  This is not meant for integration, but for illustration of https://phabricator.kde.org/D8114.
  
  The old format() method would be removed, as would probably the entire
  BPF plugin interface as we don't need to re-implement process() for the
  highlighting plugin. This however shows how a plugin would implement both
  if needed.
