D8996: Make sure the autotest fails if the .ref file is missing.

REVISION SUMMARY
  It looks like the test was silently passing in that case...
  
  This showed one missing .ref file, but this also makes me
  wonder, why was AppleICal_1.5.ics not copied to Compat-libical3?
  
  (This also showed some $file / $file_orig confusion in error messages,
  fixed)

TEST PLAN
  ctest still passes, same amount of tests
