That sounds interesting. We were looking for something similar for the
ownCloud sync client, which interacts with the SabreDAV based server
only via WebDAV as well, but the qwebdavlib seemed to be unmaintained
and not very complete.
Are you planning to release your code as a library?

I did not find the code, can you post a complete link?
