[Kde-pim] BC and SC in kdepimlibs

Hi,

can someone tell me what the current policy in kdepimlibs master is
regarding source and binary compatibility?

I'd like to to remove the boost(::shared_ptr) dependency in
kdepimlibs/syndication by switching to QSharedPointer. Is that still
possible, or am I too late?
