[Kde-pim] [kmail] (probably) an infinite loop spamming my IMAP inbox?

Hi,

Today, after a failed attempt to send a file, my GMail "inbox" got filed with 
dozens (and later, hundreds) of empty messages, which contained only one 
header - Delivered-To. Stopping KMail didn't help, I had to kill akonadi to 
stop the flood. I temporarily migrated to Thunderbird. Any ideas what could 
have happened and how to debug it? This is reproducible.
