Could you enable libakonadi in kdebugdialog? SessionPrivate should then print
"connectToServer $serverAddess", messages which would help us understand what
is wrong with the serverAddress, so that the connection fails.

Yes, they are harmless and they are printed by almost every Akonadi-based
application, because we used them a lot in libakonadi-kde.
