I updated for consistency...
default is to have /usr/bin/psql with symlink.
with debian the paths are /usr/lib/postgresql/X.Y/bin/ (no lib64)
wth rh family, when postgresql is installed from yum.postgresql.org then, the path are /usr/pgsql-X.Y/bin/
I don't remember where the RH official package put the bin/
