Hi,
seven years ago I accidentally ended up as the maintainer of the Akonadi
server. Caring a lot about Akonadi but lacking the time to properly do my
maintainer duties anymore I'm very happy we now have a very dedicated and
skilled successor, Dan Vratil.
Dan has been doing great work on the server recently with the batch
notification support, a long standing performance bottleneck we so far never
got around to address. And he already has the next such improvement almost
finished, and more to come :) Not to mention all his contributions on the
client side and resources.
Thanks Dan for taking over this job, Akonadi will be in good hands!
regards,
Volker
PS: of course this does in no way mean I'm no longer contributing to Akonadi
and/or KDE PIM, with whatever time I can find for this.
PPS: if you are looking for maintainers, I can recommend a very good second-
hand maintainer dealer that might be able to hook you up ;)
