[Kde-pim] using kmail with notmuch mail

Hi,

I'm curious to test notmuch mail[1]and would like to let it work on 
.kde/share/apps/kmail/dimap/.*.directory. Notmuch mail is for the most part a 
mail index and just maintains a search index of all emails and their tags in 
Xapian.

However notmuch changes the following IMAP tags: draft, flagged, passed, 
replied, unread.

Do you see any problem in another program doing that while kmail and akonadi 
are running?

Second question: Is it possible to trigger the notmuch indexer[2] after new 
mail has been received by kmail?
