[Kde-pim] 28x akonadi_agent_launcher, what is it doing?

Hi,

In my system monitor i noticed 28x akonadi_agent_launcher which
coincidently is exactly the same as in "Akonadi Resource
Configuration" in system settings.

Fine so far, but what is it doing? Right now i'm not using any akonadi
stuff so i can't help but thinking that 28 sleeping agents is at least
27 too much :p Also, i'm a bit unsure what i can do with "Akonadi
Resource Configuration". Sure, i can add resources there, but why do i
have a bunch of double ones like "akonadi_ical_resource_0" and
"akonadi_ical_resource_1", at least 4 for "Personal Contacts" amongst
a load of others.. Something smells strange in there.

Note: this is the default stuff, i never added a single thing.
