I'd like to ask why - as mentioned there is already a very functional
akregator2.

I see a number of reasons for not doing this:

- Feeds are not emails. People use them differently. I *really* don't want to
see feeds mixed in with my emails. akregator2 fits my work flow and I presume
a lot of other peoples. I know many who use akregator as a independent app and
don't use kmail2 at all.

- Why add yet more code and complication to kmail2?

- If you want to integrate them they play together nicely under kontact

- It works already. Lets not break it.

For similar reasons I see little reason to wrap knode into kmail2 either. I'm
not sure if theres even a need for knode anymore, use of news groups for
anything other than downloads has dropped off a lot.
