I have another resource in the works (rewritten microblog) and I made both
these resources use shared serializer/mimetype/class for the posts, so they
can be stored in unified format and later be queried simply by mimetype and
displayed in one unified stream (like on N9, see
http://martys.typepad.com/blog/2012/07/gsoc-social-feed-it-works.html for
mor details). I also have an avatar fetcher, which downloads avatars and
stores them in KImageCache. I've putted all these things in an
"akonadi-social-utils" library, which I'll put up online in the next few
days.

Would it be possible to include this in kdepim somewhere as well? Otherwise
I'll just keep it as standalone akonadi-social-utils library and make the
resources depend on it.
