Time stamps of the files. Yes, for problem 1 - avoiding to re-read all of
the archive when the user presses Ctrl-L - this would be a fine solution.
But a full sync is needed sometimes. For example when the resource is
declared for the first time. What about problem 2 - the ability of doing
a full sync of 10 GB of mail boxes while demanding less than 1 GB of RAM?
