[Kde-pim] All searchs fail

Sorry to ask on the list but I have no idea where to go with this. As per the 
subject - all search for any content fails on my 4.8 RC2 install. Both on the 
IMAP account and the local folders

There's a lot of people having similar problems on the list/google with no 
answers.

I found a few relevant bugs on kde.org but no recent activity or answers to 
them.

Is this a known problem? are there any plans for it?
