Absolutely, for testing that would be good. My experience is that on the 
netbook (dual core atom 1.6ghz, 1mb ram), akonadi + nepomuk was a nogo. 
withouth akonadi, nepomuk ran fine. Without nepumuk, akonadi ran fine (though 
with some limited functionality of course).
