[Kde-pim] kmail - create new mail - email address suggestion list doesn't contain any addressbook contacts

Dear all,

for quite some time now, I noticed when creating a new email and starting to 
type the email address into the To - entry field, none of my addressbook 
contacts pops up in the suggestion list. This suggestion list only contains 
"recently used" email addresses.

I was hoping this will change with move to the akonadi based kmail2, but still 
no success.

Should this be working in the current version?

System:
openSUSE 11.4 with KDE47 repo
kde/kontact 4.7.1
all updates applied.
