[Kde-pim] KMail addressee completion

Why does kmail addressee completion only kick in after typing a string that 
matches a complete word in the matched addressee name or email address?

Eg I have
Optimus Prime <prime at tfmrs.com> in the address book

"optimu" -> no match
"prime", "tfmrs", "optimus" all match.
