Therefore I would suggest that you open an IRC session, join the #opensuse 
channel and ask them when it will be fixed again.  Same for the Ubuntu 
problem.  The versions shipping now are not KDE trunk, so maybe OpenSUSE and 
Ubuntu forgot to add a patch to the build.
