[Kde-pim] what is the use of the assigment

I have a question about an assigment in the file kdepim-runtime/migration/kmailmigrator.cpp, in the method

"void KMailMigrator::specialColDefaultResourceCheckFinished( const AgentInstance &instance )"

There is a line with:
  mCurrentInstance = AgentInstance();

what is the use of this assigment, 4 lines before the end of the work?
