Hi Geoff,
please re-send your message to kdepim-users at kde.org. kde-pim at kde.org is
meant to be used for discussing the development of KDE PIM applications,
but not their usage.
You might want to check the archive of kdepim-users (e.g. via
http://kde.markmail.org/search/?q=list%3Akdepim-users). Problems with
filtering have been discussed there already.
