On a number of occasions we have been treated to an unannounced preview
of this - that is, a KMail update has switched on html composing without
notice.  It is infuriating to find that you have been sending html
messages to people who prefer not to get them, just because your own
settings are being ignored.  For those of us that have stuck with KMail
through thick and thin, this *is* a big deal, and I am certain that you
will lose many such users, the very ones that help the newbies.
