[Kde-pim] Akonadi / KMail2 folders not loading / hangs

Hi all,

Whilst I am aware this is a development list, I have not been able to
find any pointers to information as to why the following situation
experienced by multiple users would occur.

With this issue, attempting to access certain folders causes KMail2 to
hang in terms of loading folders, with a request shown that if
canceled leads to KMail2 hanging completely.
Leaving it for any length of time has no effect upon this hang.

Can a developer please take a look and explain why this situation
would occur? Workarounds would also be appreciated.
