I agree there should be an overview, especially about the critical issues. 
Maybe using "metaissues" or a list in the wiki. 

223438 has some issues that I would not call critical, like
  211867 -  New address book folder not added automatically to the 
subscription.
  which I believe is a defect, but non that actually would block real
  usage.
