[Kde-pim] .h or .cpp: which code will be used?

Hi!

I found something I don't anderstand:
The file kdelibs/kio/kio/global.h  defines the method and code for MetaData & operator += 
and 
the file kdelibs/kio/kio/global.h  defines the method and code for MetaData & operator += 
but
the code is a little bit different.
There no error from the compiler.
Which code will be used?
Isn't one of them too much?
