The current work happens (or rather: would happen) in 
$KDESVN/branches/work/akonadi-ports/kdepim . That's the Akonadi port of 
Akregator. Major features should go there. Bugfixes or smallish features can 
go to 4.4/trunk as well.

Not possible. Could go to trunk, easy to port to akonadi-ports.

That's because plugins are disabled. There is a switch now in trunk to enable 
it iirc, but no UI yet.

There's a bug report for that. IMHO that's a kwin bug. Here it works now, but 
I've seen it as well before, not only in akregator but also with other 
applications, especially in < KDE 4.3 times.
