[Kde-pim] knode features and RFE's?

I took another look at KMail, it seems it already handles this (though I 
wish it had an option to not change the icon), so using those as I need 
to maintain my current workflow is not an issue.

@Oliver: it sounds like, other than patch cleanup, I probably want to 
wait for that Akonadi merge before doing anything major :-).
