I never use the GUI frontends for GDB in KDevelop, Eclipse or QtCreator, in 
the end they are just buggy and annoying. And I guess in this case the Eclipse 
frontend to GDB has a bug.
I always use GDB itself, or the text UI interface, cgdb 
(http://cgdb.sourceforge.net/). That works best for me, and I don't have to 
worry about buggy frontends. It takes a bit of learning the GDB syntax, but it 
is worth it, and GDB has a good manual.
