Good point, you are right. It _is_ a bit scary, though. I had the feeling that 
when mail is locally stored in a sent-mail folder (maildir) anyway (for most 
users), it would make sense to have the outbox as a maildir as well, since 
that is no additional cost, from the code complexity point of view.

But I give in, if you all think outbox as a virtual folder in the resource is 
better, that is ok.
