[Kde-pim] Google PIM Support

Hi guys,

a few days ago I got the idea of applying for GSoC 2009 as I will finish my
studies in a few weeks...

A feature I really miss in the KDE desktop (as many others do as well (
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133614 and
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125952)) is the previously discussed
Google syncing and that's why I had the idea of proposing such a GSoC
project. Searching through the kde-pim mailinglist i found this thread and
figured out that a lot of work has been done on this topic already so maybe
there is not enough work left to be done for a summer of code project...
what do you think? is it possible to post this idea to KDE's list of ideas
for summer of code?
