[Kde-pim] Revision control system preferences

Dear PIM developers

As a sort of follow-on from Frank's development environment preference 
thread, I'd like to ask what people prefer to use for revision control.

I find SVN uncomfortable to use when working on different patches in 
parallel. I know some KDE people use git-svn or svk to do commits to a 
personal repository before actually committing to the svn.kde.org repo. Does 
anyone here have experience with this? Does it simplify your local work?
