I think the only safe way is to avoid using the same names, e.g.

AgentBase::setAgentName(), AgentBase::agentName(), AgentBase::agentNameChanged()

them

ResourceBase::setName() -> AgentBase::setAgentName()
ResourceBase::name() -> AgentBase::agentName()

and in ResourceBase::ResourceBase()
connect(this, SIGNAL(agentNameChanged(QString)), this, SIGNAL(nameChanged(QString)));
